1. About T-place

T-place is operated by Polishchuk Mykhailo, Ukraine, Kyiv, Strazhesko street 3. Contact us at teacher.place.co@gmail.com.

T-place helps language teachers create lessons, tests and homework, with optional AI assistance. You can present materials in class or share assignments for students to complete. We provide the platform; you remain responsible for teaching and your relationship with students.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 to open a teacher account. Students do not need accounts.
• Provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your password private and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Each account is for one person. Do not share it with colleagues; content and plan limits belong to that account.

3. Your students’ data

You or your school decide what student data to collect, why it is needed and how long to keep it. Whoever makes those decisions is the controller. T-place acts as the processor, handling the data on the controller’s instructions.

Our Data Processing Agreement explains these responsibilities and forms part of these Terms.

When you use T-place with students, you agree to:

• Have a lawful basis for processing their data and obtain any required permissions from the school, parents or students.
• Explain to students and, where relevant, their parents how their data is used. You can share the Privacy Policy with them.
• Keep sensitive student information out of T-place. Do not enter or request health or disability information, religion, ethnicity, political opinions, trade-union membership, sex life or sexual orientation, biometric or genetic data, or national identification numbers.
• Collect only what the lesson needs. Use a first name or nickname rather than a full name, address or date of birth.

Make sure you have the necessary authority and permissions before inviting students. If you act for a school, this includes authority to use T-place on its behalf.

4. Using T-place responsibly

Do not use T-place to:

• Upload or share unlawful material or content you have no right to use.
• Share content that sexualises or endangers children, or harasses, defames or threatens anyone.
• Upload malware, disrupt or overload the service, probe or reverse-engineer it, or access another account’s data without permission.
• Resell or sublicense the service, offer it under another brand, or scrape it to build a competing product.
• Ask the AI assistant to produce prohibited content or process students’ personal data.

Community library. Publishing is optional. Shared materials must be suitable for teaching, yours to share and free of student personal data, including in examples, screenshots and file names. We review submissions before publication and may remove material when needed, without advance notice.

5. Your teaching materials

You retain ownership of the materials you create or upload. You allow us to store, back up and convert them for use in T-place, show them to students you invite, and send relevant content to our AI providers when you use AI features. The Privacy Policy explains what is sent.

Publishing to the community library also allows us to display your material and other teachers to view, copy and adapt it within T-place. You can unpublish it at any time. Copies already made by other teachers remain available to them.

6. Plans, payments and cancellation

T-place offers free and paid plans with different limits for lessons, sessions, storage and AI use. Prices and limits are shown in the app before purchase.

• If a free trial is available, its length is shown at sign-up. It starts when you confirm your email, requires no card and is available once per account. After the trial, your account moves to the free plan without a charge or loss of content.
• Our payment provider handles payments. We do not receive or store your full card number.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You can cancel from the billing page at any time and keep access until the paid period ends. Unused time is not refunded unless the law requires it.
• If a payment fails, we will notify you and retry. If it remains unpaid, your account moves to the free plan after a grace period.
• We will notify you before changing prices or plan features. You can cancel before the changes take effect.
• Consumers in Ukraine and the EEA have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. If you expressly request that the service start during that period, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for service provided before withdrawal. The right ends after full performance only if you gave the required consent and acknowledged that the right would end.

Moving to the free plan does not delete your materials. You can still read, print and present content above the free plan’s limits, but must get below those limits before creating more.

7. Availability and service changes

We monitor T-place continuously, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or a particular level of uptime. Maintenance and outages affecting us or our providers may interrupt the service.

Features may change or be withdrawn as T-place develops. Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice before removing a feature you rely on. These changes will not make your existing materials inaccessible.

Keep your own copies of important materials using print or PDF export. Our daily backups support recovery from system failures; we cannot use them to restore individual items you delete by mistake.

8. Closing or suspending an account

You can stop using T-place at any time. To close your account, email teacher.place.co@gmail.com. We will confirm what will be deleted and when before proceeding.

We may suspend or close an account for breaching these Terms, causing harm or where required by law. Unless the law or risk of harm prevents it, we will explain why, give you a chance to resolve the issue and allow reasonable time to retrieve your materials.

9. Our responsibility to you

T-place is an early version of a platform we are continuing to develop. Disruptions and errors may occur, including in AI output and automatic grades. Review materials and grades before relying on them. Automatic grading compares responses with the answers you set; you can override the results.

We are responsible for providing the platform features described in these Terms. We do not guarantee particular learning outcomes or income from using it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business opportunities or indirect losses related to your use of T-place.

These Terms do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited, including for intentional breaches, fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

10. Reporting content and appealing decisions

To report illegal content, a rights infringement or a risk to a child, email teacher.place.co@gmail.com with a link and a brief explanation. We review every report, act where warranted and explain our decision to the reporter and, where appropriate, the person who shared the content.

If you disagree with a decision to remove your content or restrict your account, reply to our notice and we will review it.

11. Where T-place is offered

T-place is offered to teachers in Ukraine, the European Union and the other countries of the European Economic Area (EEA). It is not designed for US school requirements, including COPPA and state student-privacy laws. If you use it elsewhere, check that your use complies with local requirements.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service develops. We will notify you before changes that materially affect your rights and ask for acceptance where required by law. Otherwise, continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Ukrainian law. If you use T-place as a consumer, you also retain the rights and protections provided by mandatory laws of your country of residence, where applicable.
